Mine was excellent.

But now that I have had my fun, I thought I would bring you something…

The Secret Review, or How I learned to DFTBA and Love the Puppy-Sized Elephants

“I am about to let you in on a secret.”

“A group hidden in plain sight.”

“Nestled in the depths of the inter-webs.”

“Protected by the sacred council of the YouTubers.”

“Managed by the White Girl Clan of Tumblr.”

“Meetings are everywhere, the only hint of their locations: in the coded messages of the Twitterverse.”

Review: Big Hero 6

Before I start this review I must make one thing clear: It takes a lot to get me to watch a movie.

Movie nights at my house, no matter who I’m with, are a struggle of herculean proportions. To even consider watching a movie, I have to study the critical ratings, who made it, and sometimes even what age group it’s for.

For instance, if you have looked at my Trailer Talk series, I often give high scores to trailers. But even those movies I do not end up watching.

I am telling you all of this, so that this next part has some context.

I chose to watch Big Hero 6, after hearing only two sentences:

  1. It’s a Marvel movie.
  2. It’s made by the creators of Frozen & Wreck-It Ralph

Trailer Talk: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1

It’s almost here boys and girls!

The penultimate movie. The only series that gets better with each sequel. The only good Y.A. novel movie adaptation this year!

The one that makes fan-girls scream, and dystopia nerds need a cold shower.

And that’s before Jennifer Lawrence shows up.

So, may I present to you, without further ado, the grand spectacle that is:

Netflix Quest: #4 Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated

Along the multiverse path there is a strange neighborhood. It is, somehow, both a pathway and a cul-de-sac. It spirals in on itself, twisting upwards into a funnel.

Trust me when I say it’s a bit hard to understand. But, thankfully, you can only see all of that if you happen to be on Soy Sauce. Or, a traveler.

I happen to be both. Continue reading

Presented the only way I know how….

My 5 Halloween Essentials

Holidays are a time of tradition. Every family or group has a series of activities that they do regularly around each holiday. This is usually associated with New Years, and especially Christmas. But really any holiday can have these. Just something that gets you in the mood during the preceding weeks.

With this in mind, I thought I would share with you (in no particular order) the various things I require to get in the Halloween spirit.

Also, if you guys have any specific Halloween traditions, please feel free to share them in the comments.

So lets start off the list with:

FLASH FICTION: FUZZ

So…I love writing horror.

Like a lot.

So for the month of October, I am going to keep scratching that itch.

Who knows, maybe I’ll just keep making spooky flash fictions even when it is not around Halloween.

But, that’s later. Till that time comes, I am just here to scare. So here’s the next terrifying flash fiction.

I present:

FUZZ

“It is estimated that the average American watches five hours of television daily. However, like all estimates, there are exceptions to the rule.” Continue reading

The Scariest Book I Have Ever Read

Warning: The following contains disturbing content that may legitimately scare or otherwise upset readers. I am not joking. If you are not of a stoic nature, please go read a different article. I recommend this. (Click the green letters)

I have read many books in my life time.

All sorts of genres: Horror, Fantasy, Science fiction, etc.

I have even read the Twilight Books.

But for the longest time my favorite genres have been horror, science fiction, and dystopia.

I am only stating this so my words have weight. So that you understand I am not just blowing smoke here.

So, when I say this is the scariest book I have ever read, you should feel a chill go up your spine. Continue reading

It seems that I cannot break this habit. Though, honestly why would I want to?

So here is my newest story,  this time written without a contest to guide me.

A spur of the moment idea. I hope you guys like it.

So let’s go….I present my latest piece….
