When the world is not going,
As planned,
When the hippogriffs are dancing,
With their unbridled friends,
When it’s not even past time for supper,
It can all be a canned bummer,
But the gerbils will make,
The day a little cleaner,
A little bit tastier,
A little less meaner,
Then we will find,
That pancakes fill the spot,
Rip up the onions,
Remove oil stain spots,
And take out the smell,
Of lemon-fresh madness,
Then you will know,
The happiness that is cabbages,
And smash the laptop,
On the watermelon,
And never again fear,
Late-stage capitalism.
But in the meantime,
This is true,
There’s a skeleton inside me—
And a skeleton inside of you.
