News: Patrons of the Arts

WE NOW INTERRUPT YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED BLOG ARTICLE FOR A SPECIAL REPORT FROM BRANDON SCOTT!

Hi, it’s…uh, me: Brandon Scott.

I was hesitant to write this article. I spent a few days flipping back and forth on the issue of even typing it up. I’m not really sure how you guys will take it, or what you’ll think of me for doing this…but in the end I decided to go through with it.

Ugh, the thing I’m dancing around here, the thing that I keep avoiding saying, the thing I’m stalling on is…well…I’m doing a Patreon campaign.

Now, don’t take this the wrong way. I’m still going to do this blog for free. I’m still going to create articles twice a week at the usual time, with the same level of quality I normally put in, regardless of whether any of you decide to become my patrons. So don’t worry about that.

No, instead, this is me simply asking for your support. If you really like the stuff I produce, and want to make it easier for me to make it, then consider becoming my patron. It would mean the world to me.

And it would not simply be a one-sided relationship. My patrons (and I do have a couple already) get perks and rewards for helping me out. They get special shout-outs and promotions for their blogs and personal projects. That way I can give back to the people who support me.

It only has to cost you a dollar a month, and you can stop whenever you want. No commitments, no pressure.

I just…love writing, and I want to be able to keep doing it for as long as I can.

So, that’s my piece, and I’ve said it. If you’re interested, then click this link: https://www.patreon.com/coolerbs or click on the banner above.

Otherwise, thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you have a great day!

Thank You.

NOW BACK TO YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED BLOG ARTICLES, BROUGHT TO YOU EVERY WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY!
