This little one,
Has her fun,
Running around and along,
In this house.
Without a mouse,
To chase,
Without survival against—
To race,
No haste,
She’s safe,
Secure,
And loved—
This cat.
Pet her on the head,
She likes that.
For she is—
And always will be,
A little fuzzy,
Lovable cat.
We are ruled by the cats,
As we bring them food,
Much better than rats,
Because the power,
The power of cats,
Crushes all that will not already collapse,
To the purring,
Pouting eyes,
Of the godly cats.
The Egyptians knew,
As we will soon,
The power of a cat,
Lying tummy up—
Under the full moon.
