Only, of course, it totally is another one…

So, for those that don’t remember the last time I did this, I like to, on occasion, give you guys a starting sentence and see if you can create a story with it. This one came from a discussion I had with a fellow artist over good and bad sentences to start a book with, and in the flurry of ideas, this silly thing came about:

During the course of my teenage life, I had never been on a date. Well, except for Steve. But Steve was a walrus.

Interpret that how you will…and then post a link to what you create in the comments. Beyond that, I leave the specifics to you. It can be any genre, and any length. Just be sure to start it with that sentence.
