I got the paperback of my recent book.

And that makes three. This is the first trilogy I’ve ever published. Though I do plan to write future books in the series, I cannot explain how proud it made me to hold what I’ve been working on for the past few months.

Collectively, it’s over 300 pages of my musings, thoughts, advice, and experiences with writing books and being a storyteller.

It’s wild to think there will soon be places out in the world with that on their shelves.

It’s even possible I may one day run into someone with my books. That a force of coincidence might conspire to put me in such a place.

I hope so. That would be wildly cool.

But, regardless, when I need inspiration, I can look to my bookshelf and see the books I’ve made so far and remind myself why I write them.
