Poem: The World of The Disease

(Hi! I’m working on building up my mailing list. Please sign up! Thanks!)

The world is now asleep.

Resting,

It sometimes feels like,

Dormant,

It feels like.

See the streets,

Walk the streets,

And it feels like nothing is moving,

The world has stopped,

But not dead,

No.

You see the lights in the windows,

The car zip along as fast as it wants,

The people behind the glass of stores,

And you know the world is still with life,

Just not as it had been.

There are so many people,

Just unseen somewhere,

Crisis isolated to a few places.

But, for the world at large,

It is shut down,

Inactive.

Waiting for the time to come again,

To awaken.

Hopefully,

I hope so much,

Healthier than when it began.

Ready to finally write the book you’ve been meaning to for most of your life?

Well, let me help you with that.
